MedMen is celebrating Pride month all June long with a selection of special-edition products geared toward the LGBTQ community. The Company is pleased to partner with Equality California, the largest statewide LGBTQ civil rights organization. The non-profit is known for paving the way when it comes to improving the well-being of the LGBTQ community, while empowering its next generation of leaders.
During the month of June at all California stores, MedMen will donate 15% of proceeds from limited-edition Pride products to advance LGBTQ equality. Several of MedMen’s top-selling brands are participating with Pride-themed products, including Lowell Farms, Dosist, and DomPen. Some of the highlights include rainbow bath bombs from Kush Queen and a limited-edition Pride tin from Mr. Moxey’s Mints. Meanwhile, Kiva’s Camino gummy edibles got a makeover fit for a queen, complete with special drag queen packaging, glittery gummies, and a limited-edition Tropical Punch flavor.
In addition to the in-store celebration, MedMen employees will be marching in the LA Pride Parade on Sunday, June 9 in support of their LGBTQ coworkers, neighbors, family, and friends. The parade route will pass by MedMen West Hollywood, the company’s first retail location in the country.
Between MedMen’s origins in West Hollywood and its large quantity of LGBTQ executives and employees, LGBTQ rights have always been an important focus of the company’s social responsibility efforts. With its in-store displays, partnership with Equality California, and participation in LA’s Pride festivities, MedMen is excited to celebrate -- and give back -- all month long.
