Here’s How To Ace A Vegas Bachelor Party

As a best man, planning a memorable, not too clichéd last hurrah for the groom can be kinda tough, and it isn’t easy to find good bachelor party ideas that keep everyone in the party entertained all night. That said, there’s no need to mess with what’s tried and true—grab the boys, grab your bags, and head to Sin City. When it comes to the best bachelor party destinations, it’s tough to beat the Las Vegas Strip. Looking for excellent Vegas bachelor party ideas? We’ve got the perfect plan outlined. Forget those lame Las Vegas bachelor party packages: this cribsheet lays out the worthwhile ways to eat, drink, explore, and more when you’re rolling deep for the weekend. Just swing by one of MedMen’s various Vegas area outposts to stock up on any and all cannabis bachelor party supplies to elevate the experience, and you’re good to go!

First things first: weed is legal here, which automatically makes it one of the best things to do in Vegas. We’re sort of partial, but the best dispensary in Las Vegas is MedMen. With locations Downtown and on the Strip, it’s the perfect place to find the best pre-rolls and edibles.

Where to Stay

The Venetian Resort Las Vegas is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, and if you haven’t been, now’s the time. In fact, to celebrate, the resort’s Celebrations Team (yes, that’s a thing) has curated a bunch of experiences including one specifically for a bachelor party. These include a bar crawl through the Venetians’ Cocktail Collective venues, including The Dorsey, Rosina, and Electra, or a Bourbon Tasting at Yardbird, paired with a four-course meal.

Or, opt for the ARIA Resort, located on The Strip and featuring over 400 rooms. But the most important digs for bachelor party-planning purposes are definitely the Sky Suites, which offer incredible views, a Sky Suites guest-only pool, personal concierge, and more. In other words: If you can swing it, by all means, go for it

Where to Eat

Yardbird is a must for setting yourself up for success—whether you swing by for brunch or dinner. The Miami restaurant opened up the Vegas outpost in 2015 in (conveniently) The Venetian Resort, where you can get the popular restaurant’s famous Chicken ‘N’ Watermelon ‘N’ Waffles, along with other amazing Southern dishes.

STK at the The Cosmopolitan promises great steak, a bustling bar, and an in-house DJ. Basically, it’s the perfect setting to kick off a great night out. (Just make sure to make a reservation—you can easily do so on OpenTable.)

Another winning feast, when your crew is skewing towards Italian? You can’t go wrong with Carbone. You just can’t. And seeing as how you probably won’t be getting into the original NYC location anytime soon, now’s a good time than ever to make a reservation.

Where to Drink

Beer Park—a rooftop bar at the Paris Hotel—is owned by Budweiser and features more than 100 beers (36 on tap), screens tuned in to every sport imaginable, DJs on the weekends for brunch, games, and communal tables. It’s a great place to relax during the day or grab one last hang (and get the hair of the dog) before hitting the airport.

Kaos just opened at the newly-renovated Palms Casino and Resort, and features a DJ residency by Marshmello. It’s 100,000-square-feet, has multiple levels, and it’s basically the hottest place to be in town right now if you’re angling for the full-fledged Vegas club adventure.

There are plenty of pool parties happening in Vegas, but for a good time head to Marquee at The Cosmopolitan, the Encore Beach Club at Wynn Las Vegas, or Tao Beach.

Not into the scene on the Strip? Head to Commonwealth, a favorite among many and a a 6,000-square-foot bar with a rooftop. Head to Fremont to check out Corduroy, a rock-n-roll neighborhood bar that features PBR and Schlitz, along with cocktails — including one called the Stag Party.

Where to...Do Everything Else

Grab tickets to see the Vegas Golden Knights. The NHL team plays at the T-Mobile Arena, right on The Strip — an ideal pregame of sorts. (You’ll be raring to go after singing “Viva Las Vegas” a couple times, promise.)

Ready for a thrill ride? The Las Vegas Motor Speedway lets you book a number of experiences—from riding along in a NASCAR stock car or Indy car or even taking the wheel of one yourself. You can also book through Dream Racing on the Inside Road Course or Exotics Racing on the Exotics Road Course and drive a Lamborghini, Ferrari, Porsche, McLaren, Aston Martin and more. Vroom, vroom...

Or, if the groom’s into cigars, try the Davidoff Cigar Bar, which features cocktails and—you guessed it—fancy cigars.

Topgolf at the MGM Grand Casino is an “entertainment destination” that has 100+ climate-controlled hitting bays, VIP cabanas, five bars, two pools, and more. Make sure to reserve with plenty of notice.

Finally, head to Fremont to see some of downtown Las Vegas, while also making your way to the SlotZilla Zipline. There, you can do a traditional-style zipline (seated) at 77 feet up in the air, suspended over the Fremont Street Experience pedestrian promenade. Or you can do it Superman-style, 114 feet above ground level. Yes, all your superhero fantasies are about to come true, one zipline and bachelor party at a time.

Don’t forget to shop MedMen for all your Las Vegas bachelor party needs, and if you're a local to Las Vegas, check if your home address qualifies for Delivery here.
