Thanksgiving can create discord within even the most harmonious families. And while you don’t choose your family, you can choose what it takes to tolerate them. From the culinary genius Monica Lo comes a cannabis-laced salad dressing sure to calm even the most confrontational of cousins.
Potli’s cannabis infused Raw Honey and Extra Virgin Olive Oil (both available at MedMen’s California locations) are what mellow out this simple recipe. Drizzle it liberally over a crunchy, peppery fennel and pear salad.
ASIAN PEAR & FENNEL SALAD
1/4 cup Potli cannabis infused Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 Meyer lemon, juiced
1 Tbsp Potli cannabis infused Raw Honey
Salt and pepper to taste
1 Asian pear, thinly sliced
1 fennel bulb, thinly sliced
2 cups baby arugula
1/4 cup shaved parmesan
1/4 cup toasted walnuts
1 Tbsp fennel fronds
1 Tbsp chervil leaves, optional
Whisk all dressing ingredients together and set aside.
In a large mixing bowl, toss all salad ingredients together.
Slowly drizzle salad dressing in while mixing, making sure to coat everything.
