How to Make an Amazing Weed-Infused Grilled Cheese

It doesn’t matter how old you are: nothing beats a good grilled cheese. Seriously, what’s not to love? It’s simple to make, tastes incredible, and is easily one of the best comfort foods next to macaroni and cheese. (Let’s face it,anythingwith cheese is a win.) Plus, there’s endless variety when it comes to types of cheese, bread, and additional toppings (if you’re into that sort of thing). Another way to get creative with this classic snack? Add some weed.

If you’re looking for a savory, unique cannabis edibles option, adding some infused flair to a great grilled cheese recipe is the way to go. All you need is some Cannabutter, regular butter, and also the grilled cheese ingredients of your choice. Wondering how to make grilled cheese even better, by elevating it with some weed? Good news: it’s quite simple.

Best Cannabis Edibles Recipes

The recipes below require a butter mixture consisting of 2 teaspoons of your ready-made Cannabutter and 1 tablespoon of regular salted butter: Simply combine both butters together until soft. Easy! Just remember to watch your dosing and wait at least an hour-and-a-half before having a second infused sandwich (Or, better yet, make a backup sandwich using only regular butter.)


ELEVATED BUFFALO CHICKEN GRILLED CHEESE
Ingredients:
Cannabis/salted butter spread mixture (consisting of 2 teaspoons Cannabutter and 1 tablespoon regular salted butter)
1 cup shredded rotisserie chicken (great if you have leftovers)
¼ cup cream cheese, softened
½ cup Frank’s RedHot sauce
2 slices cheddar cheese
¼ cup blue (or gorgonzola) cheese

2 slices sourdough bread
1 pat of regular butter for pan

Directions:
Spread the cannabis/regular butter mixture on outsides of both slices of bread.

Combine and mix chicken, cream cheese, blue cheese, and hot sauce.

Layer and assemble cheddar cheese and chicken mixture on bread.

Cook sandwiches in pan until the cheese is melted and the bread is golden brown, making sure to flip so each side is browned.

Slice in half (horizontally, for the most classic grilled cheese silhouette) and enjoy!


BACON, SUNDRIED TOMATO, AVOCADO, & PESTO GANJA GRILLED CHEESE
Ingredients:
Your butter spread (consisting of 2 teaspoons Cannabutter and 1 tablespoon regular salted butter)
2 slices sourdough or your choice of bread
¼ cup store-bought pesto or the easy recipe below
¼ cup sundried tomatoes (oil-packed is best)
½ avocado, sliced
4 slices Gouda cheese
3 slices cooked bacon (omit bacon for vegetarian)

Directions:
Spread the cannabis/regular butter mixture on outsides of both slices of bread.

Spread pesto on inside of each slice of bread.

Assemble sandwich with cheese, bacon, sundried tomato, and avocado.

Grill sandwich over medium heat until cheese is melted and sides are golden brown.

Slice in half and enjoy!

Pesto:
Ingredients
2 cups fresh basil leaves, packed
1/2 cup Parmesan-Reggiano cheese, grated
1 tablespoon fresh chopped garlic
½ cup extra virgin olive oil
¼ teaspoon salt

Directions:
Pulse all ingredients together in food processor until thoroughly mixed. You may need to add more olive oil if mixture is not blended enough.
